Andrew Hussie answers all the questions. All of them.

See inside Homestuck, Book 3: Act 4: https://buff.ly/2Tda6yq

HOLY SHIT, there’s no way that’s actually Hussie.

Here’s an interview from 7 years ago to compare:

Unless his voice dropped hardcore and he suddenly started talking with a different inflection, that so isn’t his voice.

I want to believe Viz contacted him for an interview and he just got Ryan North to do it for him. I want to believe.

I’m deeply invested in this wild conspiracy now.

Theories I have thusfar:

1. This isn’t Andrew Hussie, Andrew Hussie just got one of his friends to do the audio for it as a goof

2. VIZ straight up got their own guy to pretend to be Hussie

3. This is Andrew Hussie, but Hussie is actually younger than he’s credited as being, which is why he sounded significantly younger in older interviews and sounds significantly older now

4. Viz accidentally booked one of the people running those obnoxious Hussie parody accounts. You know the ones.

5. This is an actual horse doing the interview in place of Andrew Hussie. Andrew Hussie horse.

Are you able to speak?  Would you like to help others do the same?

VOCALiD is an app for use via iPhone that allows users to essentially donate their voice so that it may be used to create synthetic speech for those with severe speech impediments, or otherwise without clear voices of their own.

All you need to become a speech donor is an internet connection, a microphone, and a quiet environment to record in.  Your voice will be blended with those of others in order to create new, unique synthetic voices suited to each recipient (i.e., no worries if you’re concerned with anyone recognizing your voice coming from someone else).

Contributing your voice to the Human Voice Bank Initiative costs nothing, and only requires signing up for a free VOCALiD account.  If you’d like to become even further involved with the project, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind volunteers or donations (but, again–you aren’t obligated to give anything more than what you want to).  Just reading through the various given sentences may eventually give someone else the ability to convey those same sentences in a voice made just for them.

For those interested, the VOCALiD homepage can be found here.  If you have any concerns before signing up, the VOCALiD Terms of Use page can be found here.

Here’s a gift you can give millions of speech-impaired people for Christmas that costs you nothing but the time it takes to read a bunch of sentences.

Skull of the Man’ari and Draenei Lore

orynthiatheradiant:

After my previous post about Orynthia’s family history in Argus, I decided I wanted to post about some lore uncovered awhile back by @illuminating-vigil. Interestingly enough, a very significant amount of Argussian history can be learned through the Demonology Warlock Artifact weapon knowledge. Below are some of the excerpts from the wowhead page, as well as tiny opinions from me.
