Take The Quiz Now!

HA!

THEY GOT IT SOOOO WRONG

It says I grew up in the midwest. I’ve never even BEEN to the midwest on more than a drive through.

I grew up in N. Cali, Washington State, Oregon, and Georgia.

Pacific Northwest? *falls over laughing* Noooope, New England girl here

And it said New England for me, but *I grew up in the southwest*.

Mine said California…I’m from the Mid-Atlantic.

Mid-Atlantic gal has been misplaced in the midwest. Pbbbt!

Lol the quiz accurately placed me in New England. I think it was my doughnut preference.

The quiz thinks I’m from New England. I grew up in New Jersey. So… not completely off-base, but not accurate either.

Also the best candy bar is either Payday or Baby Ruth and I am mortally offended that those were’t options. 😉

Said New England. I’m from Minnesota.

It guessed midwest but i’ve been in oregon for the last 20 some years, I grew up here

the old-timers I played with back in Iowa used to say “it’s good enough for folk music” when we got tired of tuning and now it’s entered my vocabulary as an all-purpose useful phrase for beating back perfectionism.

sure, i could make this closer to perfect if i put in more time and effort and there might be circumstances under which that’s a good idea, but for now i’ll get more joy and use out of it if i just accept the kind of wonky version and keep going.

My aunt used to write horoscopes for the newspaper as a part time job. She had a friend in college who a)always read that newspapers horoscope and b)didn’t know my aunt wrote it. So whenever the friend had a shitty episode my aunt would make her horoscope as positive as possible to cheer her up. Long story short they recently got married and are both my aunts now.
